My School
I study in Bishops College. It is in the centre of Colombo. Only girls study in my school. There are around 1000 students in all.
We have a very big building. There are 25 classrooms, 4 staffrooms for the teachers, the Principal’s room, and the school office. We also have a library, a music room, an arts and crafts room, a sports room, a sick room and a canteen.
We have a very big assembly hall where we gather every morning for prayers. There is a huge playground with a separate section for the younger children. It has swings, slides and a sand – pit.
I am very proud to belong to my school.
