My Mother

My mother is my best friend at home. She is thirty years old. Her name is Kumari Sivalingam. She is pretty, kind, gentle and patient. I want to look just like her when I grow up.

My mother is a Doctor. She treats people when they are ill.

She prepares tasty, nutritious food for me, and for the rest of my family. When I come home in the afternoon, she gives me lunch and I tell her what happened in school. She plays games with me in the evening. She also helps me with my studies. She advises me when I do anything wrong, and tells good stories to make me.

Every night I thank God for giving me such a nice mummy. I love her very much.
