Struggling to jump, duck and side-step the game’s various obstacles? Simply unlock Bolt (for 69p, mind) and for a short period of time you will become invincible, attract coins and be auto-guided.
Even striking his trademark pose, the playable comes complete with Jamaica vest and Puma sponsorship.
Temple Run 2′s simple but effective gameplay has proven immensely popular with smartphone users, racking up 6 million downloads in its first 24 hours on-sale.
It has since amassed some 170 million downloads.
Bolt’s inclusion – for a limited time only – is thanks to his domination of sprinting in the last few years, winning Olympics titles for the 100m and 200m and smashing multiple world records.
