Peanut butter was created basically for senior citizens who needed to munch something soft yet nutritious as elderly people find meat and other hard proteinaceous substances hard to chew.
As a response to this requirement, John Harvey Kellogg created it for the first time in 1895. Peanut butter was publicly sold in 1904. Peanut butter is a thick paste derived from blending roasted peanuts with other nutritious ingredients. This protein packed spread promotes health and tastes wonderful because it has a lingering taste.
Peanut butter can be creamy or smooth and chunky or crunchy. Peanut butter has an addictive taste and most eat it at breakfast, on toast, or in a smoothie. Some people make sauces for vegetables using peanut butter. It can be consumed as it is. It is not harmful to eat Peanut butter daily but restrict your portions to 2 tbsp a day. Actually 2 cups of peanuts yield about 1-1/2 cups of peanut butter. If refrigerated in a sealed container, you can store it for weeks together.
